Holiday Inn Express and Suites Calgary, an IHG Hotel

We loved the bathtub in the middle of the room, and the breakfast and the convenience of the location

Very clean, comfortable hotel. Good location, train station is just a short walk around the corner and the public transport system is easy and relatively cheap to use. Comfy beds - I think they must have good quality toppers on them. Courteous and helpful staff. The included breakfast was great, lots of options, including an automatic Pancake maker, which I had never seen before. Guest laundry a bonus.

Staff were exceptional! Very friendly and accomodating..had an issue with the tv, called front desk to ask for directions on how to use it a certain way. Instead of just explaining it over the phone, he came up to our room to show us in person. Room was clean, bed was comfy especially the pillows. Hotel location was perfect for us as it wasn't too far from the Arts Commons where we went for a show.

I liked the breakfast buffet that the hotel provided. There were plenty of options to choose from for breakfast, from savoury or sweet. The staff was nice and the other guests staying at the hotel were very pleasant.

The room, bed, wifi were very good. TV was easy to use. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. The location was good. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. It was about 2 blocks from the Dr's office (we walked there) & they let us leave our Jeep in their parking lot until after check out when we finished with the appointment. All staff we encountered were friendly, happy & helpful. Except for the issues below, which can be easily rectified, we were pleased with our stay. We would definitely stay there again.
